RAGS - Set in 1910, the design was rooted in reality but featured a finale image of costumes designed in the computer with yardage printed by the computer. The images printed on the cloth are from ship Manifests of newcomers to the United States found in the archives of the Museum at Ellis Island.
"The next best thing about "Rags" is the rags themselves. They have been hung on characters with very little individuality or substance outside of their generalized role as downtrodden Jewish refugees, but Carrie Robbins has run with her assignment. There are some fine, historically accurate costume designs on stage."
